We’re a powerhouse team of five seasoned female land use planners with 20 to 30 years of experience each - spanning municipal, provincial, private, and community sectors. Though our paths into planning were different, we’re united by a love of good process, meaningful collaboration, and a belief that planning is most powerful when it’s both strategic and deeply grounded in place. Please see our individual bios below for more information on our founding partners.
Mary has had a career in planning for over 35 years, most of it in Newfoundland and Labrador in both the private and public sectors. Her experience includes conducting research, analysis, producing many reports in areas of land use, economic development and tourism, heritage, recreation and environment. She has prepared and led teams of professionals to prepare background reports and plans for in excess of 15 towns, cities and regions, a number of which were recognized by the Canadian and Atlantic Institutes of Planners for excellence in planning. Mary’s achievements earned her an induction into the CIP College of Fellows in 2004. In her downtime, Mary keeps busy with cottage projects, rug hooking, playing pickleball, and entertaining her granddaughters.
